Christopher Stringer finally leaves his "Out of Africa" model!
kabwe1:
A man who was for years one of the main proponents of the African single origin of modern humans, basically leaves his concept, and comes very close to main aspects of the Multiregional hypothesis, to which he opposed strongly over years.
But we now know that the Neanderthals and the Denisovans did not go genetically extinct. They went physically extinct, but their genes were input into modern humans, perhaps in western Asia in the case of the Neanderthals.
